Recipe: Maca & Vanilla Breakfast Bowl with Smashed Berry Compote

Ingredients

4 tbsp Maca & Vanilla Buddha’s awakening mix 125ml almond milk

1 dessert spoon raw cacao powder Iswari

1 tbsp maple syrup/brown rice/date syrup Generous handful of blackberries

Toppings: pomegranate seeds, extra berries,, cacao nibs Iswari and rose petals.


Method

1. Combine the Buddha’s awakening mix with the almond milk in a bowl and mix well until really creamy and smooth.

2. Stir in the cacao powder and natural sweetener of choice and set aside.

3. Mash the blackberries with a fork until they form a compote. You can add a little sweetener here if needed.

4. Serve your breakfast bowl topped with the smashed berries and other toppings of choice.
