Ingredients

5 tbsp coconut nectar (or maple syrup)

2 tbsp tahini

1 tbsp peanut butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

1⁄2 salt

1 tbsp Iswari maca powder

11⁄2 cups oatflakes

1 cup pecan nuts

1 cup almonds

1⁄2 cup sesame seeds

1⁄2 cup Iswari Buddha’s Awakening Maca Vanilla

1⁄2 cup coconut oil (melted)

Method

1. Preheat your oven to 150°C.

2. Begin by making the salted caramel coating for the granola. Simply add the coconut nectar,

tahini, peanut butter, vanilla extract, salt and Maca powder to a bowl and stir well until smooth

without lumps. Set aside while you prepare the base for the granola.

3. To a large bowl add the oatflakes, peace nuts, almonds, sesame seeds and Buddhas

Awakening. Gently stir to mix everything together.

4. Add the coconut oil to the mixture and stir it through to coat the mixture as evenly as possible.

5. Next add the salted caramel to the bowl and mix well, it’s best to use your hands to ensure

that you mix everything evenly.

6. Line a large baking tray with some parchment paper and spread the granola out onto the tray.

7. Bake at 150°C for 15-20 minutes, stirring half way through.

8. Allow the mixture to cool completely before serving.

9. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
