Chia Seeds were considered "gold" by the Aztecs, Incas, and Mayans who used them as a source of energy, nutrition, and well-being.
Chia Seeds are extremely rich in Omega 3 and 6, essential fatty acids, as well as in minerals, and fibre, in addition to being a source of protein.
Just add water to make a moisturising and satiating drink, or use them in various recipes.
Chia seeds were used for thousands of years by the ancient civilizations of Central and South America, for
their moisturising properties, and slow digestion rate, which made them satiating. In addition:
- They are extremely rich in minerals such as phosphorus, magnesium, and calcium;
- They help lower cholesterol levels;
- They contribute to proper intestinal functioning;
- They are rich in antioxidants, which prevent the seed from becoming "rancid".
10 g per day, in bread and biscuits or added to cereals, smoothies, juices, yoghurt and desserts.
