GLUTEN-FREE BREAD MIX
The ideal mix for making your own bread at home, with minimal preparation time, but without compromising on nutritional quality or taste. The Iswari Bread Mix formula results from the combination of wholemeal ingredients, without unnecessary additions. We wanted to maintain a simple and elegant approach to a food such as bread, which can be incredibly nutritious and filling if its essence is respected.
Brown rice flour¹, chickpea flour¹, tapioca starch¹, ground buckwheat¹, whole buckwheat¹, ground flaxseed¹, psyllium powder (Plantago ovato)¹, sunflower seeds¹, dry yeast¹ and Himalayan pink salt.

Brown rice flour is much more nutritious than normal flour and also has a much higher fibre content. It is naturally gluten-free and provides a good amount of magnesium, manganese, phosphorus and B vitamins.
Chickpea flour is a flour made from raw chickpeas, has a high protein content and is naturally gluten-free. In addition to being lower in calories than common flour, it is highly nutritious.
Ground buckwheat is the second component of this product, providing the mixture with a significant content of complex carbohydrates and fibre - in combination with oat flakes, they are responsible for the feeling of satiety that this breakfast provides.
Flaxseed, as well as being an excellent source of vegetable protein and omega 3, is essential for giving the porridge made with this product a creamy texture and promoting satiety.
Of Asian origin, Psyllium (Plantago ovata) contains a soluble fibre derived from the skin of the seeds of this plant. These are used to form a powder with a high absorption capacity. It is important to increase water intake when increasing the daily intake of fibre in our diet.
Sunflower seeds are the second ingredient that differentiates this product, adding texture and contributing to their high unsaturated fat content - replacing saturated fat with unsaturated fat in the diet helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels.
SUGGESTIONS FOR USE:
1: In a bowl, combine the total contents of this packet (300g) with 350ml of warm water and mix with a spoon for 1min until a thick, firm dough is obtained.
2: Leave the dough to rise for 30-45min, covered with a damp cloth or paper towel.
3: Transfer the dough to the desired shape or to a baking tray lined with baking paper.
4: Sprinkle with seeds as desired and bake in the oven at 180ºC for 50 minutes.
5: Remove from the oven and leave to cool for a few minutes. Slice and enjoy, either plain or spread with nut butter or legume and spice pâté.
