Recipe: Energy Truffles Maca & Spirulina

Ingredients

½ cup of oats

2 tbsp. of peanut butter (or any other nut butter)

1 tbsp. of Spirulina Iswari

1 tsp of Maca Iswari

1 cup of pitted dates

1 tbsp. of chia seeds Iswari

½ cup of nuts (almonds, walnuts, peanuts, etc)

Water (if needed adding one tbsp. at the time)


To cover

Sesame seeds

Decicated coconut

Poppy seeds


Method

1. Put all the ingredients in a mixing cup (besides the water) and mix until it forms a nice sticky paste.

2. In case the paqste feels dry, add  water (1 tbsp.). The paste, when you squeeze it, needs to have a ligant consistancy

3. With your hands mold it and form balls and rub on the desired cover. Keep in the fridge to solidify.


Note: The truffles are safe outside the fridge, so you can take them to eat along the day, yet the cooler they are the  more consistent they’ll remain. ( due to the oil of the nuts)
