The Pancake & Waffle Mix | Banana, Hemp and Cinnamon is the ideal mix to have at home if you want to make your own pancakes or waffles quickly and easily, for a special, delicious, yet still satiating and nutritious breakfast. Through a balanced combination of wholemeal ingredients and vegetable proteins, we have created a product naturally sweetened with banana powder that harmonises perfectly with the cinnamon flavour! You can decorate your pancakes and waffles with fresh fruit and your favourite nut butter.


Contains naturally occurring sugars


Whole grain oat flour (gluten-free), white hemp protein (9%), banana powder (8%), banana chunks (8%), pea protein, ground flaxseed, lucuma powder, brown rice protein, baking powder [cornstarch, raising agents (monocalcium phosphate and sodium bicarbonate)] and cinnamon powder (2.5%). 


For 1 pancake

= 2 tablespoons of Pancake & Waffle Mix

For 1 waffle

= 4 tablespoons of Pancake & Waffle Mix

1: Combine the mix with the vegetable drink/water in a 1:1 ratio.

2: Mix until you get a thick, creamy batter.

3: a) Pancakes: cook in a frying pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking, when bubbles form on the surface and the base is golden brown.

b) Waffle: Place the batter in the waffle iron and cook according to the instructions.

4: Serve with desired toppings (fresh fruit, nut butter, seeds, etc.) and enjoy.


Weight and glycemic control

Its high fibre content contributes to normal digestion and increases the feeling of satiety, preventing excessive calorie intake throughout the day. At the same time, fibre can slow down the absorption of sugar, thus helping to control blood sugar.

Whole grain oatmeal is simply the result of grinding whole oat flakes. This naturally gluten-free cereal is not only rich in fibre and an excellent source of protein, but also contains many minerals such as magnesium, iron and phosphorus. As the central ingredient in this Iswari blend, oats are an excellent ally for maintaining satiety, controlling cholesterol levels and blood sugar.

Hemp (white) protein is one of the most complete (in terms of amino acid profile) and undoubtedly one of the richest plant proteins in terms of nutrition. It is rich in magnesium, phosphorus and potassium and is also an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids. Unlike other solutions for protein supplementation, hemp protein is an excellent choice because of its balanced compromise between the density of nutrients such as minerals, fibre and unsaturated fats and its high protein content (60g protein/100g product). 

Banana powder and banana chunks are clever additions to this mix for two reasons: 1) the intense flavour and natural sweetness of this fruit are extraordinary and totally eliminate the need to add sugar; 2) in a high-protein mix like this, which is very suitable both pre- and post-workout, it makes sense to incorporate foods that contain minerals that contribute to normal muscle function (particularly potassium and magnesium), a requirement that the banana always fulfils. This time, not only have we added it in powder form, so that it is evenly sprinkled throughout the mix, but also in freeze-dried chunks which, when baked into the mix structure, become irresistible little hubs of sweetness.

Pea protein is a vegetable protein powder particularly suitable for muscle growth due to its high content of BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids: valine, isoleucine and leucine). To obtain a more complete amino acid profile, it is best to combine it with other proteins such as rice or hemp.

Flaxseed, as well as being an excellent source of plant protein, fibre and omega-3 fatty acids, is essential to give structure and cohesion to the pancakes/waffles as it naturally binds the batter, eliminating the need to add any kind of egg to fulfil this function, for a cholesterol-free result rich in polyunsaturated fats which are essential to our bodies.

Lucuma is a fruit native to South America and is perfect for adding creaminess and sweetness to pancake and waffle batter.

Brown rice flour is an excellent substitute for refined wheat flour, not only because it is naturally gluten-free, but also because of its functionality and versatility, giving these pancakes and waffles greater lightness, while contributing to the nutritional density of the product.

Baking powder is an ingredient with a functional purpose in this mix and supports its convenience and ease of preparation by offering leavening capabilities to this dough.
